Document Notes: Los Angeles report on the organization estimating 10,000 membership. Details many of the internal operations. The English version of the name, "Association of Japanese Eligible for Compulsory Military Service in Japan," must have raised a red flag. Note on p.1 that those making the report had no evidence of actual subversive activity. This is contrary to statements by Hoover and MID.
