Letter Director, FBI to War Department G-2

Document 00091, Page 001

Document Notes: This letter concerns controls on Japanese workers in Montana. It discusses travel authority, freedom of movement and very pointedly, security from attacks by locals who might have lost a relative in the war. This last point is almost always ignored or denied when raised as a reason for the evacuation.
