About the Author
Lee Allen is a retired army officer and the editor and publisher of Magic: The Untold Story of U.S. Intelligence and the Evacuation of Japanese Residents From the West Coast During WW II by David D. Lowman.
He is also the co-author of a critique of the Smithsonian exhibition on the subject of Japanese American evacuation which resulted in admission by the museum of a number of egregious errors.
He spent World War II as a boy in various Japanese concentration camps in the Philippines.
